PLATFORM TIMES INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM FOUNDATION (PTIJF) was founded to strengthen developmental journalism and uphold public accountability in the media industry.
The foundation was established to train, mentor and assist new generation journalists in developing society through the media.

Oguntade Nafisat, an HND2 student of Accountancy at Federal Polytechnic, Ede, stated that during her ND1 days, her classes used to be held on the department’s first floor. Consequently, she always had to wait for someone to help her and her wheelchair up the stairs, due to her mobility impairment. Nafisat mentioned that during that time, she often experienced a lot of backaches.
She explained that there are too many steps in her hostel, and she always has to ask people for assistance…
